Smart-home products can be as simple as a battery-powered sensor or as involved as a hardwired thermostat, camera or control device. The correct service depends on how the product is powered, mounted and connected.
NY-GoodHome handles compatible smart-home installation requests in Brooklyn and New York City. Call (223) 226-1828 with the product model, app or ecosystem and photos of the intended location.
Identify the Device and Ecosystem
Smart locks, cameras, sensors, thermostats, hubs and connected switches do not share one installation method. Some work over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth; others need a hub or wired connection.
Send the product information so compatibility and setup requirements can be understood before service.
Battery, Plug-In or Hardwired?
Battery and plug-in devices are different from line-voltage products. New wiring, electrical circuits or replacement of regulated electrical components should not be assumed to be part of smart-home setup.
If the device is a hardwired switch, outlet or other electrical control, the Electrical & Lighting pages describe those boundaries more clearly.
Mounting and App Setup
Wall material, viewing angle and device height can affect cameras, sensors and control panels. Basic app pairing can be part of device setup when the customer has the required account and network access.
NY-GoodHome does not promise network redesign, security monitoring or access-control integration.
