A portable fire pit, a prefabricated unit and a built-in gas or masonry fire feature are very different projects. Fuel type, base, clearances and local rules should be understood before the work is treated as ordinary outdoor installation.
NY-GoodHome accepts fire-pit requests in Brooklyn and New York City for scope review. Call (223) 226-1828 with the product or design, site photos and fuel type.
Portable, Prefabricated or Built-In?
Portable units may mainly require placement or product assembly. Prefabricated systems can have a base, enclosure or block kit. Built-in gas features can require masonry, gas piping, electrical ignition and permit work.
Those scopes should not be combined under one promise.
Base and Clearances
The selected product should sit on a suitable noncombustible or manufacturer-approved surface with the required clearances. A new masonry pad or hardscape feature is separate site work.
Gas and Electrical Boundaries
Permanent gas supply, fuel conversion and electrical ignition are regulated utility work. NY-GoodHome does not claim those services without current credentials.
If your project also involves Masonry & Concrete Repair, mention it when you call so both parts can be planned together.
