Dressers and wardrobes combine case assembly with drawer slides, doors, hinges and alignment. Tall units can also include manufacturer anti-tip hardware, which makes wall conditions part of the project.
NY-GoodHome provides dresser and wardrobe assembly in Brooklyn and New York City. Call (223) 226-1828 with the product model and final-room photos.
Dresser, Wardrobe or Armoire?
A low dresser is mainly drawer-based furniture. A wardrobe or armoire can add full-height doors, shelves, hanging rods and large vertical panels. Modular wardrobe systems may include several frames that need to align as one run.
If the system depends on wall tracks or is designed as a complete closet interior, use the Closet System Installation page instead.
Drawer and Door Alignment
The cabinet needs to be square and stable before drawer fronts or doors can be aligned. Uneven floors can show up as door gaps, so final placement matters before adjustments are treated as complete.
Missing hinges, slides or handles should be identified before the appointment.
Tall-Unit Attachment
If the manufacturer requires anti-tip attachment, include that in the request. Wall type, fastener requirements and baseboards can affect how the unit sits.
NY-GoodHome does not treat every tall piece as automatically anchored without confirming the product and wall conditions first.
