A bed frame is easier to assemble correctly when the exact product, mattress size and final room are known before the boxes are opened. Platform beds, storage beds, upholstered frames and bunk or loft systems can use very different supports, fasteners and clearances.
NY-GoodHome provides bed and bed-frame assembly in Brooklyn and New York City. Call (223) 226-1828 with the product link, bed size and photos of the final room.
Know the Bed Type
A simple platform frame may use side rails, center supports and slats. A storage bed can add drawers, lift mechanisms or cabinet-style sections. Upholstered frames may include separate headboard and side panels, while bunk or loft beds introduce height, ladders and guard components.
The model determines the sequence. Manufacturer instructions should be available whenever possible so the frame is assembled around the intended supports and adjustment points instead of generic assumptions.
Room Access and Final Placement
Large headboards and long side rails can be harder to maneuver than the finished bed appears. Tell us whether the boxes are already in the bedroom and whether stairs, elevators or narrow halls affect access.
The room also needs enough space to build the frame before the mattress is placed. If an old bed needs disassembly or removal, describe that separately rather than assuming it is part of new assembly.
Wall Beds Are a Different Service
A Murphy or wall bed depends on a wall-mounted mechanism and attachment requirements. That is different from ordinary freestanding bed assembly and belongs on the dedicated Murphy & Wall Bed page.
If the room also includes dressers or wardrobes, those items can be listed as part of a larger furniture project, but their drawer, door and anti-tip requirements should still be identified individually.
Can a storage bed be assembled?
Yes, provide the exact model because drawer and lift mechanisms can change the work.
Is old-bed removal included?
No. Disassembly, moving or haul-away should be described separately.
