Prefabricated saunas can range from compact infrared cabinets to barrel and cabin kits. The structure itself may be an assembly project, while the heater, power supply, ventilation or site base can introduce separate trade requirements.

Indoor, Outdoor, Barrel or Infrared?
The kit type determines the walls, roof, benches, door and base sequence. Outdoor barrel or cabin systems need a suitable site, while indoor systems need enough room and required clearances.
Base and Room Readiness
The manufacturer may specify a level, stable base and environmental conditions. Building a new pad, structural platform or foundation is not automatically part of assembly.
Heater and Electrical Scope
Some infrared units use ordinary plug-in power. Other sauna heaters require dedicated electrical work or other regulated connections. NY-GoodHome does not claim those hookups unless separately confirmed.
The same rule applies to ventilation modifications or other building-system work.
