Fence work begins with layout and site conditions, not only the panel style. Length, height, material, grade, post locations, gates and the actual property boundary can all change the project.
NY-GoodHome handles fence installation and repair requests in Brooklyn and New York City. Call (223) 226-1828 with site photos, approximate length and the fence material or system being considered.
New Fence or Repair Existing?
A new fence needs a complete line, post spacing and gate plan. Repair can focus on loose posts, damaged panels, rails or hardware if the surrounding fence remains serviceable.
Widespread leaning, failed posts or deterioration across multiple sections may be a larger replacement project rather than several isolated repairs.
Material, Grade and Posts
Wood, vinyl, composite and metal systems use different posts and connections. Sloped ground can affect panel layout and step/rack conditions.
Concrete footings, masonry interfaces and difficult excavation can change the scope. Those requirements should be identified before the fence is treated as a simple panel installation.
Property and Rules
Property lines, setbacks, building rules or permits can apply. NY-GoodHome does not claim survey or permit services automatically.
If the fence only needs new stain or paint, use Fence Painting & Staining instead.
