A sunroom or solarium can be a prefabricated system or a true building addition. Foundation, framing, roof, glazing, water sealing, insulation and utilities all affect whether the project is routine kit installation or major construction.
NY-GoodHome accepts sunroom and solarium requests in Brooklyn and New York City for scope review. Call (223) 226-1828 with system plans, dimensions and site photos.
Prefabricated System or Custom Addition?
A complete manufactured kit can define frames, panels and roof components. A custom addition tied into the building can require design, engineering, permits and multiple licensed trades.
The project type needs to be clear before an installation commitment is made.
Foundation, Roof and Glazing
The supporting base, connection to the house, roof drainage and glazing system are all connected. Custom architectural glass panels do not automatically mean NY-GoodHome can build a complete sunroom structure.
Utilities and Interior Finish
Electrical, heating/cooling and other utilities can be required for a finished four-season space. Those regulated systems are separate until credentials and scope are confirmed.
A lighter prefabricated screen room has its own page when full glazing and conditioned-space construction are not involved.
