A vanity and mirror should be planned as two related but different installations. The vanity depends on floor level, wall position, sink/top and plumbing. The mirror depends on dimensions, wall condition, weight and mounting method.
NY-GoodHome handles compatible vanity and mirror installation requests in Brooklyn and New York City. Call (223) 226-1828 with product links and room photos.
Vanity Size and Placement
Check cabinet width, depth, door/drawer clearance and the relationship to the toilet, tub or shower. A wall-mounted vanity can require different support from a floor-standing cabinet.
The floor and wall should be suitable before the cabinet is leveled and fixed.
Sink, Top and Plumbing
Some vanities arrive with an integrated top and sink; others use separate components. Existing supply and drain locations need to work with the new cabinet.
New plumbing, relocation or concealed line repair is regulated scope and is not automatically included.
Standard Mirror vs Custom Mirror
A customer-supplied standard mirror can be mounted when its weight, hardware and wall are suitable. If the project is a made-to-measure mirror with custom dimensions, edges or cutouts, use the Custom Mirrors page.
