A shed kit can be resin, metal or wood, but every system depends on a base that matches the manufacturer requirements. The site and foundation should be resolved before walls and roof sections are assembled.
NY-GoodHome handles customer-supplied shed kit assembly requests in Brooklyn and New York City. Call (223) 226-1828 with the shed model, footprint and site photos.
Resin, Metal or Wood Shed?
Resin sheds often use molded wall and roof panels. Metal sheds can contain many overlapping panels and braces. Wood kits may use floor, wall and roof framing that is closer to small-structure carpentry.
Keep all manufacturer hardware and instructions available because similar fasteners can serve different structural points.
Foundation and Floor
Some sheds include a floor frame, while others rely on an existing slab or prepared platform. Significant concrete, paver or structural foundation work is not automatically part of assembly.
If a new base is needed, use Outdoor Structure Foundation Installation to plan it separately.
Anchoring, Access and Utilities
Anchoring should follow the product requirements and site. Electrical circuits, interior build-out or plumbing inside a shed are separate scopes.
If building or property rules apply, those should be checked before the shed is installed.
