Relocating a playset involves three separate decisions: how to dismantle it, how the components will move and whether the destination is ready for reassembly. A project should not be described as “move swing set” without planning all three.
NY-GoodHome accepts playset-relocation requests in Brooklyn and New York City for scope review. Call (223) 226-1828 with full photos at the current site and destination.
Identify the Playset and Condition
Model, material, age and current damage affect what can be reused. Wood rot, rusted hardware or cracked components may become more obvious during disassembly.
If the main purpose is repair rather than relocation, use Playset Repair & Restoration.
Disassembly and Hardware Organization
A playset intended for reassembly should be dismantled in a way that keeps sections and hardware identifiable. The dedicated Playset Disassembly page covers that stage when the parts will not necessarily move to another site.
Transport and Access
Component size, gates, stairs and the distance between sites matter. NY-GoodHome does not automatically include a moving truck, commercial transport, crane or specialized hauling.
Destination Site
The new site should meet the manufacturer’s base and clearance requirements. Ground preparation, foundation work and drainage are separate from relocation.
